James M. Harris, III (Jay) has been providing comprehensive, holistic advice to his clients since 1990. After being with Wells Fargo Advisors Private Client Group for almost 10 years, Jay and his team joined the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network and began James Harris & Company in May 2024. 

Jay and his team focus on providing investment planning for private, family-held businesses and the families that operate them. Over the past three decades, Jay has learned that providing advice and services to family-held businesses under a comprehensive investment plan is often far beyond the capacity of any one professional advisor. It requires a well-coordinated, collaborative effort by a team of professionals from the legal, insurance, investment, estate, business, and tax disciplines to provide the scale of planning, advice, and resources needed.

James Harris & Company takes a similar approach as a family office. Like a family office, beyond basic financial services, Jay can provide his clients access to specialists at Wells Fargo Co. who can provide our clients with access to lending products and services through Wells Fargo affiliates.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®), and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) Jay helps analyze every aspect of his clients’ financial lives – including assets, liabilities and cash flow, current insurance coverages, and investment and tax strategies – and executes approved plans designed to help achieve well-defined objectives. This also encompasses benchmarking progress towards reaching financial goals and making necessary adjustments to his recommendations. Jay takes a holistic and multidisciplinary approach that includes a deep dive into sophisticated wealth strategies, estate planning, wealth transfer, behavioral finance, family dynamics, tax management, and legacy planning. 

Away from the office, Jay has been an active member of the Albany community for more than 20 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Cherie, and daughters, visiting the beaches of 30-A, and listening to live music.

Andrew helps clients achieve their life goals and manage risk through customized planning strategies that incorporate a wide variety of investment options including: stocks, bonds, mutual funds, life insurance, estate and goal planning tools. He often utilizes professionally managed ETF portfolios, separately managed accounts, mutual fund advisory strategies that incorporate strategic portfolios based on a 10-15 year view, cyclical solutions with a 3-5 year view and tactical strategies designed to react to short term adjustments in the market over 6-18 months. Portfolios are designed to address various client objectives whether the need be income generation, tax-managed strategies or even specialty portfolios to address a specific client need.  After a careful review, Andrew works with the client to find optimal strategies designed to hedge market risk, help preserve his clients’ portfolios and offer them the diversification they need to reach their goals over time.

Andrew was born and raised in Memphis, TN and is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a degree in Business Administration. He started his career as a Financial Advisor at Morgan Keegan & Co. in 1995, which later became Raymond James. After over 15 years there he has decided to rejoin Wells Fargo Advisors, in Macon, where he had been an advisor from 2001-2006.

Andrew is an active member of the Macon community and is on the Statford Booster Club board. He and his wife, Meg are members of Christ Episcopal Church and are also on the Macon YoungLife Adult Committee. They have three children Emory, age 24; Caroline, 22; and Drew, 18.

As a Financial Consultant, Adrien focuses on overseeing and managing investment planning, engagements, and client relationships. Adrien plays a key role in the development of a wealth planning strategy, ensuring the alignment of the client’s financial goals and all of their assets. She provides overall wealth planning expertise, with significant depth in one or more area including Estate Plan Strategies, Retirement Planning, Trust, and Gifting Strategies. 

With over two decades of financial services experience, Adrien’s career began at Sea Island Bank (now Synovus) where she worked as a teller and later a lending assistant, customer service representative and assistant Branch Manager and Lender. After taking a break from her professional endeavors to focus on her family, Adrien joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a Client Associate in 2014 and later accepted a position with the Divisional Governance team. 

Adrien is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. An active member of the Statesboro community, she currently serves as co-treasurer for the Statesboro Service League. Away from the office, she enjoys crafting, decorating and travel. Adrien and her husband, Mark, have two teenage daughters, Meredith and Reagan.

Nanette Brimberry is the Senior Registered Branch Administrator for James Harris & Company. Her career in the financial services industry began in the year 2000 so she has many years of experience assisting clients with their administrative needs.

With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for precision, Nanette is the cornerstone of operations, striving for the seamless opening of new accounts, nurturing client relationships, and helping to ensure the smooth movement and transfer of funds. With a dedication to excellence, Nanette is committed to delivering impeccable service, ensuring our clients’ financial journeys are met with efficiency and confidence.  

Nanette graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy State University in Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in English and minors in Business Administration and Science. Her goal each and every day is to deliver exceptional customer service and develop a positive long-term client relationship.

Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading a good book, and planting flowers.

Allison began her career in the financial industry in October of 2018 when she joined the Harris Financial Strategies Group of Wells Fargo Advisors as a Client Associate. In June of 2021, Allison became a Private Wealth Client Associate. 

In May of 2024, Allison joined the Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network with James Harris & Company as a Senior Marketing Associate.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, Allison manages all aspects of marketing, event planning, research, and prospecting initiatives. Leveraging her strong organizational skills and strategic mindset, Allison excels in crafting engaging webinars, coordinating impactful events and messages, and conducting thorough market research. Her multifaceted role allows her to contribute effectively to the company’s growth and success, driving results through innovative marketing strategies and diligent prospecting efforts. 


Allison graduated from Albany State University in Georgia in December 2019 with an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration. She continued her academic journey at Georgia Southwestern State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business and Computing Degree in Human Resource Management in May 2021. Her academic achievements led to her inclusion on the Dean’s List during her time at GSW. 


Although Allison has been an Albany native her whole life, she enjoys going to the beach with her friends and family. Allison and her husband, Hunter, have one daughter, Sloane, she enjoys baking in her free time, and spending time with her dogs.
